Der Medien- und Performancekünstler Oliver Hangl lädt fünf Gitarrist*nnen ein, die noch „jungen“ Räume und Zwischenräume der Seestadt Aspern musikalisch im Gehen zu erschließen und zu verhandeln. So schreibt sich eine mobile ARMY OF GUITARS frei improvisierend samt Publikum temporär in das vielschichtige Neben- und Miteinander an Bebauung, Menschen, Systemen und urbaner Natur ein und erklärt sie kurzerhand zu prototypischen Freiräumen, die es gilt selbst aktiv zu nutzen.

Media and performance artist Oliver Hangl invites five guitarists to explore and negotiate the still “young” spaces and interspaces of the lakeside town of Aspern musically while walking. Thus a mobile ARMY OF GUITARS, improvising freely with its audience, temporarily inscribes itself into the complex coexistence of buildings, people, systems and urban nature and declares them as prototypical free spaces that have to be actively used.
